adventure
friday, i went to the art institute in chicago again. always something new to see. i love art. it’s my momentary escape, but it’ll soon become my reality. there’s no turning back! who knows what wonders I will find on this great adventure!
so much effort
i’ve noticed that as i get older, i have to put more effort into doing things. gradually, the degree of which we used to do things is not enough. it’s not that homework gets any harder, it just takes so much will power to get to it, and then eventually get it done. staying awake in class wasn’t a question, but i feel my eyes getting heavier as the semester rolls on. same with my...

bruises and cocaine.
i went skeet shooting with my brother yesterday. hit 7 targets the first round, 4 the second. terrible, but not bad for my first time. now i have a giant bruise on my arm.
ryan gosling is mesmerizing. and i’m not talking about the notebook. he plays a basehead middle school teacher in half nelson. worth watching on netflix if you’re into indie films.
