being me
Today, six others and I led our hour and fifteen minute social and cultural anthropology class today in a lesson on kinship.
In an attempt to break the incredibly awkward silence, I told a funny story about my family, which people actually enjoyed and laughed at! I reacted to the laughter by turning bright red in the face like it was the weekend. Needless to say, the rest of the class was superb!
I suck the awkwardness from situations involving thirty plus individuals and pour it into my own blood. It’s my thing.
*edit. I love how the posters line the walls in this building, so hypothetically I don’t have to look at anyone. ever.
